I used to have time blocks of about 1.5 hours with half hour breaks built in afterward, so that I would actually get knitting and other projects done during lockdown. I figured out a time length that worked for me, rotated between projects so that I would not get bored + get lured into social media, and had time to make and eat food during my breaks so that I would get up and move around and eat and stuff. I think your ideal time blocking will look different from mine for energy reasons, but if you want body doubling on Thursday, especially for financial wading, you know where to ping me.
I do agree that that is a stressed move on the part of your nesting partner, but at least she is not so overwhelmed that she is melting down and freezing about it? Small comforts.
And if you want me to rub your shoulders when I come over soon, I can do that. Pay me whenever; I know where u live ;)
